Today’s consumers are more conscious of joint and bone health than ever. They’re actively looking for new answers. This novel combination of ingredients delivers a new value proposition to your customers.
Studies of this new ingredient have suggested a mechanism of action for bone structure support through chondrocyte activation:
• Enhanced chondrocyte survivability under inflammatory (IL-1β) conditions (in vitro).
• Improved Glycosaminoglycan production by human chondrocytes.
All constituents of this new ingredient have been shown to be safe by multiple acute, sub-chronic, and chronic toxicity studies.
In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial, 105 men and women took 200 or 400 mg per day of Flexir or a matching placebo for 90 days. Those taking Flexir had statistically significant improvement in Total WOMAC scores compared to placebo.
Continuous improvement in Total WOMAC scores was observed throughout the 90-day trial. WOMAC subscores for pain, stiffness, and physical functioning were similarly improved in a dose-dependent manner throughout the duration of the trial. Visual Analog Scores (VAS) and Lequesne Functional Index (LFI) showed statistically significant improvement compared to placebo as well.
In a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial (105 men and women), daily consumption of 200 or 400 mg Flexir significantly improved joint pain scores in a dose-dependent fashion
Inflammation from exercise has similarities to the type of inflammation that occurs with the aging process. FLEXIR can help!

FLEXIR is a novel, patent-pending ingredient based on Terminalia chebula, Curcuma longa (Turmeric) and Boswellia serrata (AKBA).
PLT’s Boswellia serrata supply chain starts with collectors and aggregators who have worked with us for decades. These collectors are trained in sustainable gum tapping to maximize yield while maintaining the safety and health of the Boswellia serrata tree populations.
Over the last 25 years, PLT has worked with our innovation partner – Laila Nutraceuticals – to create an environment that can assure not only the highest quality Boswellia ingredient with proven efficacy, but an ingredient that the people who sell it and buy it can be proud of.
Terminalia chebula is a deciduous tree native to South Asia from India and Nepal east to southwest China (Yunnan), and south to Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Vietnam. It has seen long use in Ayurvedic medicine.
Curcuma longa is also known as curcumin or turmeric. It is an herbaceous plant native to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia and has been used for centuries in traditional and Ayurvedic medicine.
At PLT, we are working on the concept of Mobility Solutions - making these solutions available for people of all ages and walks of life.
