As a part of its ingredient identity and quality control process, every batch of material undergoes multiple identity tests, including macroscopic and sensorial analysis, the development of chromatographic profiles and independent DNA barcode analysis to ensure the authenticity of the raw material.
At its state-of-the-art facility in the Canary Islands, Nektium specializes in extraction, concentration and drying processes. Most ingredients are standardized to provide precise levels of bioactive compounds. The resulting HPLC ‘fingerprint’ is consistent from batch to batch and matches the goals set for the ingredient.
