Abstract: In an open-label, proof-of-concept study , thirty women (mean age 54.2 years) took 350 mg per day of ceratiq oil for three months. The objective was to assess wrinkle evaluation tools commonly used in the cosmetic industry (i.e., for topical applications) for an oral dietary supplement. Subjects were assessed by corneometry (Primos 3D light projection method), photographs, and self-assessments, as well as for tolerability of the supplement. Skin hydration was significantly increased in all volunteers, by 20% on face and 40% on legs. Wrinkles were significantly reduced in 73% of subjects, by up to 22%.
